The clear blue water of Disney Springs can be seen from the Characters in Flight balloon (this is the full experience). The Town Center is due to open on May 15th, and so much looks close to being ready! STK is below, as well as construction on The Edison and Planet Hollywood Observatory.

Sprinkles at Disney Springs opened today, and along with it a Cupcake ATM. This is the 20th Sprinkles and the 12th ATM! Guest can choose to either go through the line (ordering inside baked goods and/or ice cream) or order cupcakes through the ATM. The ATM does have longer hours than the shop, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m.

B.B. Wolf's Sausage Company officially opens on Sunday, May 15th at Disney Springs (Marketplace). Today it was open for a while after Cast Member previews, and we picked up a Bavarian Sausage Sandwich to try. This should be a very popular location!

In Mousesteps Weekly #184, we talk about these topics:

Disney's Animal Kingdom park, where we spent Earth Day. Imagineer Joe Rohde was signing autographs for guests. Jiminy Cricket had a 90 minute wait for much of the day at Conservation Station. We saw two baby gorillas on the Pangani Forest Exploration Trail. And it's just a few weeks until nighttime attractions begin at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park!

At Epcot, we enjoyed Earth Day weekend as well. Captain Ron, a pup that works at Vero Beach assisting with sea turtle nests captivated guests. Around World Showcase, a bar was added to the Canada pavilion inside the Trading Post. We met Launchpad McQuack at World Showplace, along with other characters. And June is just around the corner, when Frozen Ever After is scheduled to debut.

On the Carnival Magic, we attended a media event for the Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que Smokehouse. This is another Guy Fieri concept, included with the cost of the cruise.

Paddlefish is the new concept replacing Fulton's (still a Levy brand) at Disney Springs. Also at Disney Springs, Sprinkles is scheduled to open on May 15th, 2016! This is the location we get asked most about, and it will include the cupcake ATM. We look forward to sharing more about Sprinkles in a couple of weeks.

We rode Characters in Flight with our Groupon, enjoying the views of Disney Springs. Town Center opens on May 15th!

The Earffel Tower has been removed from Disney's Hollywood Studios. We talk a little about it and share some vintage photos.

We visited the new D-Luxe Burger at Disney Springs. The burgers are great, as are the fries and the special macaron dessert. There is much to enjoy! Many of the construction walls are now down at Disney Springs Town Center, revealing shops, restaurants and blue springs. Town Center opens on May 15th to guests, with some shops and restaurants opening (including Sprinkles Cupcakes) and more as the summer progresses.
